ABOUT

bleu ciel celebrates vegetarianism, driven by moral and ecological values. Sarah strives to educate her audience about the benefits of a meat-free diet, proving that vegetarian dishes can be just as fulfilling and delicious. Her menus often feature fermented ingredients, which not only add unique flavours but also promote gut health. Drawing inspiration from various cultures, sarah infuses traditional dishes with her unique twist: “I like to not limit myself to one country but to interpret the cuisine of any country or just mix them to my taste”

Sarah is no ordinary figure in the frenetic, high-stakes world of professional kitchens. Her journey, as varied as the dishes she artfully creates, defies the typical chef's mould. Emerging from an unconventional past, Sarah never conformed to societal expectations. Instead, she danced to the beat of her own drum, often feeling like an outsider in a world demanding conformity. In the kitchen, amidst sizzling pans and aromatic spices, Sarah finds her sanctuary. Each dish reflects her soul, a testament to her journey, and an embodiment of her individuality.

bleu ciel’s cuisine is specialised in international vegetarian cuisine with a creative twist. For each event/ residency I create customised menus. From buffets, tapas to fine 6-course menus, I not only adapt my service to my collaborator’s preferences, but also take into account the specific location and group size. Each culinary experience becomes a unique journey, where the enjoyment is in harmony with the needs and wishes of the guests. The focus is on variety and quality. My dishes tell stories and reflect the creative diversity of Berlin and the world.
